Sakset is a collaboration of Finnish sound artists Läjä Äijälä (Terveet Kädet, The Sultans, Billy Boys, The Kolmas...), Jussi Lehtisalo (Circle, Pharaoh Overlord...) and Tomi Leppänen (Circle, Pharaoh Overlord, Aavikko...). The avant-electro group’s debut Lahja is a haunting album driven by distorted arpeggios, subliminal harmonics and echo chamber melodies. The band’s chaotic appeal is extracted in equal parts from Kraftwerk and Rancid Hell Spawn, nailed down by Läjä Äijälä’s guttural charm. This music equals sex.
